Pre-Primary Lorikeets and Possusm

In Religious Education this term, we are learning about the Church and why it is special. We’ve talked about how the Church is a place where people come together to pray, learn about God, and care for one another. We are also learning that we are all part of God’s family, and we can show this by being kind, helpful, and loving to others.

In Literacy, we are learning to read and write CVC words like cat, dog, and sun. The children are practising how to sound out each letter and blend the sounds together. We are also working on writing these words using the correct letter formations. The children are doing a great job and becoming more confident every day!

This term, we’ve been exploring numbers to 10 through counting, games, and hands-on activities. The children are learning to add numbers together and break them apart to better understand how numbers work. We are getting much more confident with exploring these concepts and are working well with our expanding number knowledge.
