Year 5 Excursion

On the Year 5's recent excursion to the Kids Research Institute was a fantastic experience that left students inspired and eager to learn more about science. The visit was both engaging and educational, offering a hands-on opportunity to explore the fascinating world of bacteria. Students learned to distinguish between good and bad bacteria and even had the chance to examine bacterial samples under a microscope.

They collected and interpreted real data, which helped bring their classroom learning to life. The activities also supported the development of key scientific inquiry skills such as questioning, predicting, planning, and conducting investigations. It was a day filled with discovery, curiosity, and a deeper appreciation for the wonders of science.
