Project Rockit
Years 7 & 8 Anti-Bullying Workshops
On Wednesday the 25th of June, our Year 7 and 8 students had a fantastic opportunity to participate in Project Rockit workshops, bringing young and passionate presenters into our school to facilitate youth-driven, evidence-based learning experiences for students.
Project Rockit shared great messages and tips about using social media and online platforms and encouraged students to be part of the solution, not the problem. Students were asked to reflect on their own digital footprints and consider how their online actions contribute to the broader digital environment.
“Project Rockit’s approach is built on the simple premise that young people can create positive change in the world around them - our job is to cultivate the skills, confidence and connection needed to do exactly that. We also work with parents and educators to wrap support around the whole school community.”
