Small Projects Keeping the HOL Team Busy

A lot of small projects completed around the school, everything from flag holders outside the Performing Arts Centre, stickers on bins, BBQ trailer is repaired and now operational.

Don't forget kindling and firewood is available, $5 kindling/ $10 firewood per bag.

This group continue to impress me week in week out, nothing is to difficult for them. Success comes in many forms, Max now has his own kindling business, Lynkin cooking his first BBQ. Ash, Shaylah and Kaylah building map draws for staff room. Matt building a boomerang. Angus always there helping Peter and Damian.

A Lesson in Projects Created

A recently completed project by one of the students . It often sums up how our students operate at HOL, if something doesn't work, they adapt, change the plan and move forward. More proud moments.

Donations!

Hands on Learning have converted an old chook pen into a green house and we are looking for donated items including pots, small plants, plants stands, and small pieces of galvanised pipe (e.g. old taps, elbows etc.).

Any items would be greatly appreciated.

For drop off options, please contact Damian on (03) 5723 0500 or via damian.loiterton@education.vic.gov.au

Thanking you in advance,

Bottle & Can Recycling Fundraiser

Did you know that 53% of plastic bottles end up in landfill?

12% of plastic bottles end up in our environment where they contribute to the 130,000 tonnes of plastic leaked into Australia's marine environment each year.

Wangaratta High School have started recycling plastic bottles and drinking cans, with proceeds from the initiative being put back into our school and supporting worthy school projects.

See more information below in how you can assist this fundraiser:
