SWIMMING CARNIVAL

On Friday 1st March, 31 children travelled to Gunnedah to compete at the ADPSC Swimming Carnival. 

The team consisted of - Thomas McDougall, Charlie Williams, Liam Gallagher, Dylan Cayley, Brody Hill, Klara Bunnemeyer, Lucy Evans, Matilda Marshall, Ivy Thomas, Eleanor Weinthal, Alex Bijnens, Matthew McAuley, Elijah Skilton, Jacob Anderson, Isabella Harding-Brown, Georgia King, Priya Hitchcock, Sara Scott, Eleanor Pryor, Max Collett, Harry Marshall, Charlie Dunst, Emilia Bunnemeyer, Annie Davidson, Alera Ison, Spencer Pryor, Nellie Cook, Georgia Edgecock,  Maddison McDougall and Fredrick Pryor.

 

Congratulations to Thomas McDougall who broke the Senior boys 50m Butterfly record in a time of 32.88. This time was faster than his 50m butterfly time at the St Nicholas carnival. 

 

Congratulations to Isabella Harding-Brown who was awarded 11 year girl champion, Klara Bunnemeyer who was awarded senior girl champion and Thomas McDougall who was awarded senior boy runner-up.

 

Our senior girls relay team placed 1st overall, our senior boys relay placed 3rd and our junior girls relay placed 2nd. 

 

The following children gained a place in the Armidale Diocesan Team to travel to the Polding Carnival in Sydney on Wednesday 3 April:

 

Thomas McDougall, Klara Bunnemeyer, Lucy Evans, Alex Bijnens, Isabella Harding-Brown, Georgia King, Priya Hitchcock, Emilia Bunnemeyer, Annie Davidson, Nellie Cook,  Maddison McDougall and Fredrick Pryor.

WINTER TRIALS

Good luck to the following children who are attending the ADPSC Winter Trials in Tamworth this week.

 

Hockey : Campbell Judd, Charlie Dunst, Winsome Urquhart, Sofia Michell, Ivy Thomas, Matilda Klasen, Ivy Rodda and Faith Kelaher

Netball: Klara Bunnemeyer, Kate Baiocchi, Eleanor Weinthal, Isabelle Cooper, Azarlee Ramirez, Zoe Sedon and Indy Single.

Rugby League: Matthew McAuley, Taj Fitzgibbon, Mason Fenn and Thomas McDougall.

Soccer: Ben van Aanholt, Carter Brown, James Collison, Baxter Hoy, Eddie Wakely, Charlie Williams, Nate Deacon, Isabella Harding-Brown, Savannah Brazier, Mia Simpson and Bailey Maher.

 

DIOCESAN CRICKET AND TOUCH FOOTBALL TRIALS

The ADPSC Cricket and Touch Football trials are being held on Friday 5 March. If you would like your child to be considered for this please email Mrs Tyrrell on

This is for children in Year 5 and 6. Please include details of your child's preferred position and their playing history (including representative).

AFL

This term we were lucky enough to receive a Sporting Schools Grant for AFL. In the coming weeks all children will be participating in an AFL session with development officers from the local area.
