OUR FAITH

PRAYER 

Dear God,

During this Lenten season help us to keep our eyes on Jesus. Help us to spend more time talking and listening to you. Help us to share what we have with others and be truly sorry for time we have done wrong.

Amen.

for.....our school community as we continue to pray, give and reflect on our words and actions through the season of Lent.

LITURGY NEWS

Next Wednesday some of our Year 5 students will have the opportunity to attend Reconciliation and Kindergarten will have a visit from one of our parish priest.

Family Masses

Thank you to the families who attended Family Mass last Sunday. It was lovely to see the children invited to the sanctuary area to have a chat with Fr John.  

Our next family mass will be held on Sunday 7th April (Yr 1 and Yr 5) at St Nicholas Church at 9.30a.m. 

These Masses are an opportunity for our School community to come together with our Parish Community to celebrate the Liturgy of the Word and to share a ‘cuppa ‘and morning tea afterwards.

First Reconciliation - Year 3 - Wednesday 12th June 2024

First Eucharist - Year 3 - Weekend of 15th/16th June 2024

Confirmation - Year 6 - Weekend of 7th/8th September 2024

ALTAR SERVER TRAINING

Student who are baptised Catholics and have received their First Reconciliation and First Eucharist are eligible to become an Altar Server. Altar Server training will be conducted on Thursday 21st March at St Nicholas Church 4pm-5pm. 

GREEN DAY - ADVANCE NOTICE

Our annual ‘Green Day’ will be held on Friday 22nd March. This will be a day where children wear ‘green mufti clothes’ and bring along a gold coin donation which will be put towards our fundraising efforts for CARITAS Australia.
