Colour Run - 1 March 2024
We can not wait for our Colour Run and look forward to all our students taking part in this event. Please find details below on setting up a fundraising profile.
We are looking for volunteers to assist on the day. If you can help please complete this form. Thank you in advance.
- Please make sure students wear a WHITE shirt and closed in shoes (preferably old joggers).
- Students will be given free sunglasses and a rainbow headband for the event.
- Students will be covered in non-toxic, biodegradable colour powder from head to toe.
- Colour power is made of high-quality corn starch and permitted food colours. Safety data sheet is available upon request.

Parent Representative Role
Your role as a Parent Representative is to create and encourage relationships between parent/caregivers and provide opportunities for families to communicate and socialise.
The Parent Representative is a central point in communication between parent/caregivers, teachers and the P&F. We are still looking for a Representative from the following classes;
Pre-Kindy
Kindy Rosellas
Pre-Primary Possums
Year 1 Cockatoos
Year 2 Platypuses
Year 3 Magpies
Year 4 Geckoes and Koalas,
Year 5 Bandicoots and Dingoes
Year 6 Brolgas and Emus
What is expected of you?
- Organise social events for your class during the year e.g. parent coffee catch ups, year level play dates for the children, parent/caregivers lunches/dinners, family picnics.
- Welcome new families and support them as they integrate into the St Helena’s Catholic Primary School community.
- Encourage and support parent/caregivers to be involved in school community events and activities.
- Attend P&F meetings when able to.
- Assist the P&F in organising a group of volunteers from your class for specified events
- Distribute information to classes and families from the P&F.
Social Events
- Organising events that allow parent/caregivers to form relationships is also a vital aspect of your role as Parent Representative.
- Some event ideas are parent/caregivers coffee catchups, class play dates for the children, parent/ lunches/dinners and family picnics.
Support
Your role is supported and encouraged by St Helena’s Staff and the P&F. If you have any questions or need anything during your time as Parent Representative please contact St Helena’s P&F or seek assistance from the school.
