Annual General Meeting

First meeting and AGM

Tuesday 27 February

6.30pm, Staffroom

The PFA will be holding their Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 27 February. The meeting will be held in the Staffroom at 6.30pm. Enter via the school office main entry. Refreshments will be served.

We look forward to seeing some old faces back and to welcome new faces into our PFA Community. We will be working towards more contributions to school resources, getting the community together and assisting the school at events. It is a great way to get involved with the school, meet new people and get a great appreciation of what goes on within the school. Events

Our first event for the year was the Year 7 Meet and Greet, held on Tuesday 13 February in the JLC. I remember attending my first meet and greet as a parent in 2020. We only had a small number of parents attend that year, around 50 (COVID played a part in that) but we are still in touch with parents that we met that night. This year, a whopping 200 people attended. New parents were able to get to know each other over some light refreshments. The room was buzzing. Hopefully new friendships have been formed.

Secondhand Uniform Shop

Don’t forget, the second hand uniform shop is open:

Tuesday Afternoons 2:45pm – 3:45pm

Friday mornings 8:15am – 9:15am

Shop Stock

After a very successful sale in December we have been left with very depleted stocks. If you have any of the following items to sell or donate it would be greatly appreciated if you could bring them to the uniform shop during opening hours or drop them into the school office.

Short Sleeve Blouses
School Jumpers

Volunteers

We are always looking for volunteers to help in the uniform shop. It doesn’t need to be a weekly commitment, we appreciate any time that you may be able to spare or to even go on an emergency list. Training is provided. Please contact us if you can help uniformshop@mgsc.vic.edu.au
