Student Free Day and Staff Spirituality Day 

A reminder Monday 26 February is a calendared Student Free Day to enable staff to participate in Catholic formation and for our boarding community to enjoy the Boarder Free Weekend.  

The ongoing personal and professional formation of our staff is central to fostering our authenticity as a faith and learning community. Most importantly, this formation enlivens the vocation of our staff by providing an enriching educational experience for our students. 

Normal classes resume Tuesday 27 February. 

Pink Stumps Day  

On Saturday 24 February, St Peter’s Lutheran College and Marist College Ashgrove will play each other in the annual Pink Stumps Day for all cricket games. This is the third year in a row that all games at both schools will help fund McGrath Breast Care Nurses so they can then provide vital physical, psychological, and emotional support to more people navigating breast cancer. Sadly, breast cancer leaves no community untouched. This year, 20,458 women and 217 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer in Australia. Each one deserves the best quality of care, with support from a McGrath Breast Care Nurse. 

All home and away matches will feature the iconic pink stumps. The parents and families of the boys are asked to please show your support by wearing Pink on the day.  

At St Peter’s Mayer Oval, the P&F building will be open day with free tea, coffee and snacks. If on campus, please pop in and show your support for the McGrath Foundation that helps so many families in so many ways. All sports from both Colleges are welcome. 

The McGrath Foundation are very appreciative of the fantastic support from both Marist College Ashgrove and St Peters Lutheran College and acknowledges that funds raised are supported by both schools.
