College Captain Introductions to the Community

Holly Adams-Alcock

Hello everyone, I would first like to acknowledge and thank everyone for allowing me to be the 2024 school captain alongside Elle. It is a great privilege to lead such a successful and respectful school, where I know and believe that everyone can be successful in their journey. I have already gotten to see the great year ahead of us in only the first few weeks, and it has already been a joy seeing the smiling faces and connections/ friendships already created by students and teachers alike. Now, a bit about me. I have lived in Melbourne my whole life and played netball since I was 6 (and love it). I also have an older brother who graduated from Homestead in the first graduating class. If you have any questions or want to talk, don't be afraid to approach me in school as I will be more than happy to answer any questions and have a good talk.

Hey everyone, I wanted to take a moment to express my immense gratitude and excitement for the privilege of serving as one of the school captains in 2024. The year kicked off on a high note with the athletics carnival, and witnessing everyone's enthusiasm and involvement, whether in events or with creative costumes, filled me with pride. My

aspiration is to infuse our unique spirit into HSSC, creating a lasting legacy of a tightly-knit and proud cohort. On a personal note, I'm an inherently social person, always open to lending an ear or offering support whenever you need it. Originally from Queensland, my educational journey has taken me through eight different schools, and I can confidently say that this is my favourite one. Here's to an absolutely incredible year ahead. Cheers!
