Library STEM building update
Library STEM building update
The building project has now been underway for just over a year and we can now see the shell of the impressive building that we will soon be able to inhabit.
Please see some images below of the building’s progress. I have spaced them out at close to monthly progression but also at key milestones.
The builders are currently working with the VSBA to confirm a completion date for the project, however, they have indicated that we will be using the building around July/August which will make for an exciting Semester 2 for our Library and Science classes.
In the following picture you can see the great space being created for one of our Collaborative Superlabs.
We are currently deciding on a suitable name for our new building – we have been calling it the Library STEM building throughout the project but that name does not incorporate the Student Services areas of the building. Our Wellbeing, Careers and IT support teams will also be moving into the space.
School Council members have made a few suggestions but we would like to offer our creative community an opportunity to add to the suggestions for a name for the space.
If you have an idea of a name for the new building, please email us!
Email title: Library STEM Centre name
Send to info@nhs.vic.edu.au with your suggestion.
In our next newsletter will put out a poll to decide on the best name for the building.
