Colin Buchanan Concert

We are super excited to announce that the renowned children's Christian entertainer, Clin Buchanan, will give a concert in our Worship Centre on Saturday 15 June at 3.00pm. Lots of us would know some of Colin's songs including 'Remember the Lord' and '10,9,8, God is Great!'. This is a joint effort between the school and the church and we are pleased to be able to partner in this on the back of successes that we've enjoyed with Messy Church and many other initiatives.

Managing fatigue as a parent:

Do you sometimes feel like you are always tired? Perhaps you go through patches where you are left with little to give. It happens!

Over the past 6 weeks my family has had its fair share of sicknesses. 3 with Covid (including myself), a daughter with pneumonia and currently dealing with a son who looks like he has some sort of flu. To top it off we had our 2 year old niece with us for 4 days over the last weekend while her mother was giving birth. She was a little sick too. She also literally ran us all ragged as toddlers tend to do. Thankfully the holidays were a little slower paced to help us deal with the health challenges we have had in our house over the past weeks.

Do you have times like this? Times when you feel when something hits it’s yet another whack to your already fatigued mind and body.

Well, you are not alone. Justin Coulson provides some insights into what you can do to help you through these moments. Some little tips and tricks that hopefully don’t take too much effort but can be most helpful. Many of these ideas are obvious but nevertheless a good reminder and reminding when you are fatigued is probably what you need. Enjoy the read (and rest if you need it!)
