VOCABULARY

Alliteration is the repetition of the same sound at the start of a series of words. 

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Children choose an animal and  list words that have the same beginning sound. 

Eg:

• Dog
• Daisy 
• Dug

Students then use these words to create alliteration. 

Eg: The dog dug a daisy up
