Mother’s and Special Person’s Day

Presents Stall - Friday 10 May

It's nearly the time of year where we celebrate mothers and special carers with our famous annual Mother’s Day stall! For new families, the Mother’s Day stall runs during school hours on Friday 10 May and gives the students an opportunity to bring along some dollarbucks to choose something lovely for their special person/people. The kids love the independence of choosing something themselves.

If you haven’t had a chance yet, we are collecting donations until Monday 6 May for:

  • Gifts for the raffle hampers (such as wine, candles, non-perishable foods, vouchers and all those nice things that people love to receive)
  • Small items for Mother’s Day Stall (such as non-perishable food/sauces, bath bombs, candles, accessories, seed bombs and jewelry. Handmade items are also wonderful! (Sadly we cannot accept pre-loved items at this stage)

There's a cardboard donation box in the front office to drop off your kind donations.

Raffle tickets

You may find some raffle tickets coming home in your child’s bag behind the old banana. They will also be on sale at school if you want to pick up a few for yourself, friends or neighbours. Tickets are $1 each and the lucky winners could score one of several awesome hampers when the winner is drawn on 17 May.

Mother’s and Special Person’s Day Breakfast

We’ll also be celebrating mums, grandmothers, aunts and all special people in our life at our Term 2 breakfast on 10 May from 8.30am - 9am. Feel free to bring them along for a breakfast of pastries, coffee and juice on school grounds. Any funds raised go towards the school's 2024 fundraising targets.

NB: Grade 3 and Grade 4 Families Due to camp, we will be having a 3/4s Craft Club on Tuesday 7th of May, during lunch, which will give them the opportunity to make something under guidance from volunteers, or to purchase items from a smaller version of the Stall. Items will be for sale $5 and under, or $4 to make a craft item such as magnets, tote bags and decorated candles.

Please remember to send cash with your  3/4 child on Tue 7 May so they can participate in our Crafting Club.

Volunteers, please!

We would love some volunteers to help out! Please sign up here. to help with any of the following:

  • 3/4s Craft Club, 11am-12pm, Tuesday 7 May
  • Breakfast, 8am-9.15am, Friday 10 May
  • Mother’s day shop keeping, 9-11am or 12-2.30pm, Friday 10 May
