YEAR 8 

Year 8 students attended Mungalli Camp last week on the tablelands. It was fantastic to see the students involved in the many activities on offer despite the wet weather conditions. Some favourites included: abseiling, mountain biking, zipping and raft building. St Mary's students demonstrated a great sense of community and perseverance across the activities working within their pastoral groups.

Students will have time in the coming weeks to reflect on their camp experience during a Liturgy. This is an opportunity to reflect on growth both personally and within peer groups. 

We hope all students have a restful weekend in preparation for the return to normal school routine on Monday.

This week during SEL, students will update their assessment trackers and set goals for their academic achievement for Term 2 based on last term's report card. This is a great opportunity to have a conversation with your child about term 2 assessment and their goals to ensure learning is strengthened.
