Christmas Assemblies
We were very excited to come together as a school community for our Christmas Assemblies yesterday. It was wonderful to see so many families join us on the day and enjoy the wonderful performances our students have prepared.
Year 6 Operetta
Congratulations to the Yr 6 cohort, Teachers and Ms McNeall on an awesome performance last Wednesday night. So much work goes into the preparation of students, props and costumes.
A Christmas Message from Mrs Burton
Thank you
At the close of the school year, I want to extend my deepest gratitude for your support and prayers over the past six months.
A Blessed Christmas and Festive Wishes
As the Christmas season approaches, I would like to wish you all a truly blessed Christmas. May you and your loved ones find joy and peace during this special time, and may the spirit of the Holy Family bring warmth to your celebrations.
Celebrating Our Students
I was absolutely delighted to be able to attend the End-of-Year Assemblies and Presentations. These fantastic celebrations truly showcase the incredible gifts and talents of our students. They are a wonderful opportunity to recognise the children's achievements as they prepare to take their next exciting step in their educational journey.
I am so proud of everything they have accomplished this year, and I firmly believe that our students truly can go anywhere and be anything they set their minds to.
To our departing Year 6 students: I wish you all the very best in your educational journey as you complete your primary schooling. As you prepare for your next step, please remember all of the important values you have been taught at St Mary's: to act kindly, show compassion, to act justly, and continue the mission of Jesus which has been entrusted to you.
In the words of St Angela Merici - "Strive to be faithful to that which God has called you."
Thank you again for your wonderful support throughout the year. I wish all our families a safe, relaxing, and joyous holiday season, and I look forward to welcoming everyone back in the new year.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
With sincere thanks,
Mrs Belinda Burton

Wearing our Uniform with Pride
Thank you parents for ensuring your children wear the correct uniform. It is very evident that we take pride in our presentation.
Maintaining a high uniform standards is an important part of our school's identity and plays a significant role in fostering a sense of pride and respect for our school.
Our uniform identifies St Mary's School within the community and develops a sense of school spirit and belonging within the student body. Some specific uniform requirements, such as shoes, hats, hair and jewellery, are directly related to student safety. The wearing of the correct school uniform is compulsory, and students are expected to arrive wearing it daily, ready to learn.
Families are asked to ensure that each item of clothing is clearly labelled.
We thank you for your partnership in this important aspect of school life.
Mobile Phones or Devices
No mobile phones, smart watches or devices for students at school.
If for some reason your child needs to have a phone before or after school, they must hand their phone in at the front office before they go to class and pick it up again before they leave in the afternoon.
During the school day students can always be contacted by a phone call to the front office. If students are found with a phone, smart watch or device during the school day, it will be confiscated and parents will be notified.
