Welcome Back to School!

We are so excited to welcome all students and families back for the new school year!

It has been wonderful to see smiling faces, reconnect with friends, and begin settling into our classrooms again.

Returning to school after a break can take a little time, and establishing clear routines plays a big role in helping children feel safe, confident, and ready to learn.

Over the coming weeks, teachers will be spending time revisiting classroom expectations, daily routines, and learning behaviours to support a smooth transition back into school life.

At school, we are:

  • Re-establishing classroom and whole school routines
  • Supporting positive friendships and a sense of belonging
  • Providing clear expectations and consistent structures across the school
  • Allowing time for students to reconnect, reflect, and reset.

You can support this transition at home by:

  • Re-introducing morning and bedtime routines
  • Talking positively about school and learning
  • Encouraging independence with packing bags and lunches
  • Checking in with your child about how they are feeling

 

Working together, these routines help create calm, predictable days where students feel secure and ready to engage in their learning.
