Good afternoon,x families,
As we come to the end of another wonderful school year, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your partnership, trust, and support. Every achievement we celebrate, from the smallest steps to the proudest milestones, has been made possible because of the strong community we share with you.
This year has been filled with growth, curiosity, resilience, and joy. Our students have shown remarkable progress, not only in their learning but also in their confidence, kindness, and ability to support one another. It has been a privilege for our staff to witness their journeys each day.
Thank you for the many ways you contribute to our school through volunteering, encouraging, attending events, and being our students’ greatest champions. Your involvement strengthens our school community and makes it a truly special place to learn.
As we head into the summer break, I hope the weeks ahead bring your families rest, adventure, and quality time together. For those moving on to new schools or new chapters, we send you on with our very best wishes. For those returning next year, we look forward to welcoming you back and beginning another exciting year of learning.
School Choir
Congratulations to our school choir, which performed yesterday at three local nursing homes. The residents of these Homes were thrilled to see and hear our choir sing for them.
Thank you to Mrs Stefanec for training the choir and organising these opportunities for the students.
End of Year Reports
The students End of Year reports were sent out yesterday via a link. If you have any queries about your child’s report, please contact your classroom teacher via email.
Move Up Day
On Monday, 15 December, all students will move up to their new classes and meet their new teacher/s and classmates. We welcome 12 new students and 98 prep students, who will also be attending our Move Up Day.
End of Year Mass
On Tuesday, 16 December at 9.15 am, we will be celebrating the end of the 2025 school year with our whole school mass. This mass will also be the school’s community opportunity to say goodbye to Father Andrew and wish him all the very best for his new appointment as parish priest of Flemington/Kensington.
Everyone is invited to attend.
Farewell to Father Huy as he has been appointed to St Joseph’s Springvale. We have really enjoyed having Father Huy at St Louis over the last 18 months, and we wish him all the very best at his new parish.
