Literacy

This fortnight in Literacy, we have begun writing letters to Santa. Students have been planning what they would like from Santa and have started drafting their written letters. They have enjoyed sharing their ideas and practising their writing skills in a fun and meaningful way.

Maths

In Maths, students have been learning more about fractions. They have been identifying one quarter and one eighth of a collection, and working on dividing lengths into halves and quarters. Students have been using hands-on activities to help them understand how fractions work in real situations.

Prep Transistion

This fortnight we had the last two sessions of our Prep Transition sessions aswell as the State Wide transition day. The Preps and the rest of the BPS students had heaps of fun making crafts and going on scavenger hunts. We are really looking forward to having all of our new preps with us next year!
