Congratulations to Our Year 12–9 Students on Completing Their Exams
We extend our warmest congratulations to all students from Year 12 through to Year 9 for their hard work, resilience, and determination throughout the exam period.
Completing exams is a significant milestone for every learner, and this year’s cohort demonstrated admirable focus, perseverance, and commitment to their studies.
Exams play an important role in supporting deep learning. They encourage students to consolidate knowledge, practise recall, strengthen problem-solving skills, and develop effective study habits. These skills help create strong, independent learners who can transfer their understanding across different subjects and challenges.
Introducing formal exams at Year 9 provides students with valuable early experience in managing revision, time pressures, and assessment expectations. This gradual build-up helps students develop confidence and familiarity with exam processes, ensuring they are well prepared for the increasing demands of senior years—especially as they move into Year 10, VCE, and beyond.
We are incredibly proud of the mature and dedicated approach shown by our students this year, and we thank our teachers and families for their ongoing support.
Well done to all on a successful exam season!
PAT Testing Results 2025: Continued Growth in Reading and Mathematics
The 2025 PAT results, collected during October and November, show clear and consistent improvement in both reading and mathematics across all year levels. This positive trend marks a welcome shift from the 2023–2024 data and highlights the impact of teachers’ collaborative efforts and the purposeful adjustments made to classroom practice.
The sharing of effective pedagogical strategies has strengthened instruction and contributed to the measurable progress in student learning. Our teachers’ commitment to refining and enhancing their practice continues to be a key driver behind these gains.
Looking ahead, the school will introduce a PAT Vocabulary assessment in 2026. This addition will further support our ability to monitor and develop students’ literacy skills, ensuring a more comprehensive understanding of their learning needs.
2025 VCE Results
The 2025 VCE results, including study scores and ATARs, will be released at 7:00 am on Thursday, 11 December 2025, through the official Results and ATAR Service.
Students can access their results online or via the mobile app until 5:00 pm on Monday 15 December. Printed statements will also be mailed to the home address supplied by the school, and VCE/VPC certificates will be distributed separately by the school.
Students must register in advance on the Results and ATAR website using their VCAA student number and a secure password. Once registered, they can log in through the website or app on results day. Email delivery of study scores may occur if a valid email address was provided to the school.
Results will include confirmation of VCE completion, individual subject results, study scores and, where applicable, the ATAR. Students are encouraged to ensure they have their login details ready ahead of release day.
End of Year Mass and Awards Assembly
On the final day of Term 4, our school community will gather for our End of Year Mass and Awards Assembly to celebrate the year and acknowledge the achievements of our students. The Awards Assembly provides a special opportunity to recognise those who have demonstrated academic excellence, academic growth, improvement in mindset, leadership qualities, sporting achievement, community contributions, and the embodiment of our college’s charism in their daily words and actions.
This celebration is always a highlight of the school year and will be enjoyed by students, staff and families as we come together to reflect on 2025 and honour the hard work, spirit and dedication shown across our school.
