Immersion Cooking Classes

Fruit Sando

 

The Year 5 Japanese class participated in a Japanese immersion cooking session. Japanese Fruit Sando (fruit sandwiches) are sold as snacks in convenience stores in Japan and are easy to make. The students brought their preferred fruit and assembled their Sando using special Japanese Shokupan milk bread and sweetened cream. They all enjoyed their snacks together at lunchtime. 

Making Crépes

 

Shelford French Enrichment and Y11 French students enjoyed an immersion French cooking class last week too. Making (and eating) traditional crépes was a sweet way to practice speaking French.
