Year 9

Congratulations to Year 9 students Jed and Niti who alongside Dr. James Curran represented the college and took part in a live panel discussion about the implications of AI across education. Both students pretended their views about AI to the panel and should be commended on representing our school.

Engineers Without Borders

Four of our year 9 students represented the college in the Engineers Without Borders (EWB) Innovation Challenge, that took place at the University of Melbourne. Eva, Jessica, Niti and Prabhgun responded to a real-world problem posed, affecting an Indigenous Australian community.

As a team, they develop and presented a cohesive and brilliant solution, that incorporated a product and an implementation process.

Their proposal is designed to help the Yirrganydji people retain culture, reduce waste on Country and create employment opportunities.

The judges were so blown away by the thoughtful innovation and their professional presentation skills, that they were awarded FIRST PRIZE
