The happy faces in the above photo belong to some of our Fete Committee members at the conclusion of their final meeting. The pride shown is so well-deserved as they (and many others not in this photo) have worked tirelessly throughout the year to give our school a magnificent event for the whole community. Thank you all....now bring on the 2023 Beaumaris Primary Twilight Fest Fete!

Year 3 - Oasis Camp Mt Evelyn

Our Year 3s really enjoyed their overnight camp at Mt Evelyn early in the week, although I don't think it was always quite as "chilled" as appears in the photo below. Lots of fun, excitement and adventure. Maybe a little sleep as well. Thank you to the teachers in the Year 3 team for providing this opportunity and to parents who supported to make it a success.

Remembrance Day

Our student leaders attended the Beaumaris RSL Remembrance Day Ceremony last Saturday. The day before they led the school in a moving assembly to reflect on this. Thank you for representing our school with such dignity.

Classes 2024

Over the last few weeks we have been working to establish our staffing for 2024. Whilst there a a couple of pieces of the puzzle still to be solved we are almost there. I know it will continue to be an amazing teaching staff next year.  As we begin discussions as to which teachers will form teams and each year level, in a couple of weeks we will also begin to form classes.

Towards the end of next week we will send a Compass message to let you know how to make any class placement requests based on educational criteria. We appreciate some of you who have already emailed requests, but ask that if you have, you also fill out a request form when they become available.

Will you be at Beaumaris Primary next year?

We are working towards establishing staffing for 2024 and determining student numbers is essential. Our numbers at Beaumaris Primary remain strong, but if you are aware your child or children won't be with us next year, it would be very helpful if you could let our office admin team know as soon as possible. Thank you.
