Gospel: Matthew 25: 1-13 

  ‘Parable of the ten bridesmaids’

This Sunday's readings talk about the gift of wisdom. In particular, the gospel uses wisdom as the special gift that will help us prepare for the coming of God's Kingdom. Do we, as parents, help our children to prepare? Do we, as parents, help our children make use of the gift of wisdom? Are we, as Christians, ready for the coming of Christ's Kingdom? Do we, as people, make use of the gift of wisdom in our everyday lives? As parents, we are our children's first and best teachers. As parents, our examples are our children's best lessons?
