Stage 5 Music Night
Kildare Catholic College proudly hosted its Stage 5 Music Night on the 14th of November. Featuring the exceptional musical abilities of our Year 9 and 10 students, the night was a celebration of creativity, dedication, and the power of music to bring a community together.
The evening kicked off with an energetic performance of Green Day’s “Hitchin’ a Ride”, setting the tone for an unforgettable night of music. From the rocking vibes of AC/DC’s “All Night Long” to the timeless melodies of Elton John's "I'm Still Standing," the repertoire showcased the diverse musical tastes and talents of our students.
The event took place in the historic setting of St Eugene's, providing a fitting backdrop for the outstanding performances. The venue was filled with an enthusiastic and supportive crowd, highlighting the strong sense of community that exists within our school. Parents, teachers, and fellow students gathered to celebrate the musical achievements of their peers, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and shared appreciation for the arts.
The Year 10 students faced a special challenge, as they were assessed on their small ensemble performances. This final assessment of the year showcased their growth and development as musicians as well as ensemble skills developed through their study this term.
Congratulations to all the students who participated in the Stage 5 Music Night, as well as the teachers who worked tirelessly to make the event a resounding success.
