Year 10 Recital Night

Families and friends are invited to join us for the Year 10 Recital Night, this coming Wednesday 1 November. Featuring musicians from the Year 10 cohort, this concert is not to be missed! The Recital Night commences at 7pm in the Gonzaga Barry Lecture Theatre.

Year 9 Recital Night

Applications are open for performers in the Year 9 Recital Night. Held on the evening of Wednesday 8 November to an audience of family, friends and peers, this concert is open to all Year 9s who take weekly lessons on an instrument. The concert commences at 7pm in the GLBT. Students learning through the College may have their application handled by their tutor; students learning externally can collect an application form from the Music Office. Applications close Friday, 3 November at 3:30pm.

Grandparents’ Picnic

Students in Primary Ensembles will be delighting guests of the College at the upcoming Grandparents’ Picnic on Friday 3 November. The following ensembles will perform according to the schedule below:

12:15pmString Orchestra and Mini Minors collect instruments and music from the PAC and meet in the Library Courtyard.
12:30pmYear 5 and Year 6 Band collect instruments and music from the PAC and meet in the Library Courtyard.
12:40pmString Orchestra and Mini Minors perform.
12:50pmYear 5 and Year 6 Band perform.
1:00pmPrimary Singers meet in the Library Courtyard.
1:10pmWanju Voices meet in the Library Courtyard.
1:15pmPrimary Singers and Wanju Voices perform.

Withdrawals and Applications for 2024

Please note the following details pertaining to enrolments and withdrawals from instrumental and vocal lessons at the College. Further details are available in the Music Handbook or through the Music Office.

  • Current enrolments automatically renew for 2024 unless an application to withdraw is submitted. These forms can be submitted throughout Term 4 and until the end of Week 1, Term 1, when enrolments are confirmed for the semester.
     
  • New applications for lessons can be submitted throughout Term 4 and the holiday period. Applications received before the end of Term 4 will be scheduled to commence to start Term 1, while holiday applications will be processed to start depending on tutor availability.
