Principal's Report

The Book Fair was a huge success. Thank you to all the students and their families for the fabulous support. Total sales for the Book Fair was $10,375. This means that the school receives $3,112 commission to purchase books and resources for our library in the new year. A very big thank you to Sharon Westwick, our Librarian, for her many extra hours of work and dedication to ensure the success of the book fair! What a fantastic result.

We are very proud of the following two students for their recent extra special achievements:

Abby (Year 5) for winning the Young People of Bayside Art Exhibition, (10 – 13 age category), please see information further in the newsletter.

Lily (Year 4) for 2nd place in the annual "My Place" Australian history creative writing competition (Year 3 & 4 category).  This is a national writing competition conducted by the Australian Children’s Television Foundation and the ABC.
