This Week's Updates

 Dear Families,

We are looking forward to celebrating Mother's Day with our inaugural Mothers and Mother Figure Breakfast which will be held before school on Friday morning.

Please complete the enrolment and menu order form via CDF Pay by Wednesday.

Please return raffle tickets by Wednesday to allow for time to collate them.

The Mothers Day Stall will operate on Friday morning from 9am -11am ensuring all students can attend. We have a wonderful selection of gifts at $5 each.

Please join us for our Prep-led prayer service on Friday at 2:30pm in the Community Centre.

Cross Country

Last Friday's House Cross Country was an awesome event. All students put in fantastic efforts and displayed great resilience and sportsmanship throughout the event and when the running became tough.

Congratulations to Dillon - the winning house.

Thank you to Catherine Wall for organising such a well run event.

We have approximately 60 students now competing this Friday afternoon in the District cross country event at Ruffey Lake Park, 99 Victoria St, Doncaster East from 12:00pm to 2:15pm.

Election BBQ

The polling booth at St James went well over the weekend, providing many voters a sausage to purchase at our P & F run BBQ. We raised over $1100!

Thanks to all volunteers who helped with the BBQ: Amy and Tom Dougherty, Kylie McMahon and Nick Rodgers, Jason, Patrice and Neve Barry, Dave and Karina Squires-Unkles. Special mention to Dan Savoia who organised the event and cooked all day long!

Enhancing Catholic School Identity surveys

Thank you for your support and understanding in completing these surveys. We will share the results with the community when we receive them back from MACS later in the year.

Given it's a short turn around, the need for a good sample size to have valid data and the time consuming nature of the surveys, we are offering parents an incentive to complete it by tomorrow night. The incentive is to go into a draw for a $100 gift voucher and children of parents who complete the survey receiving some additional playtime. Please note that no student will receive less than their usual playtime.

Final Open Morning Tour date: Wednesday 9.15am

Feel free to tell any friends or neighbours about our Open Day.  We have almost 50 applications in for Prep 2026 and will commence the Meet and Greet process next week.

Other Reminders

  • 2026 Prep Enrolments - a reminder that current families should have already submitted their online enrolment form. If you haven't please do so by the end of this week.

If your child wants to join it's $15 per semester.  We still require more parents to help out. Your support makes a big difference and helps keep the program thriving! If you're available and interested in helping out please contact the school office.
