An exciting day for all members of the Catholic Community with the election of a new pope.  We look forward to how he will shape the church as we move towards the middle years of the 21st century.

May he never lose sight of Christ who walks before us and among us — particularly in the most vulnerable, the forgotten and the outcast. Christ Jesus, bless Pope Leo XIV — and bless us, your holy people, as together we strive to be your Body in our wounded world. Amen.

God of blessing, God of life, We thank you for the gift of our mothers, And all those who are like mothers to us. We place them in your loving care And trust that you will give them all that they need for life. We ask this through Jesus Christ, your Risen Son.  Amen
