Log Planned Absences on Compass
A reminder that Tuesday, 4th November, is the Melbourne Cup Day Public Holiday and the school will be closed. As in previous years, we understand that many families choose to take an extended long weekend. Given our traditionally low student attendance on Monday, 3rd November, please note the following arrangements:
- Alternate Program: Students attending school will participate in an alternate program and may not be taught or supervised by their usual classroom teacher.
- Staff Leave: Many staff members who have accrued Time-In-Lieu from camps and other school events will be taking leave on this day.
- Canteen: The canteen will be closed.
- OSHC: Before and After School Hours Care will operate as usual, with reduced staffing.
Action required: If your child will be absent on Monday, 3rd November, please submit an Attendance Note via Compass as soon as possible. This will help us plan appropriate supervision and staffing for the day.
We thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
