Home inquiry: How can your family make sustainable choices at home? Are there ways to be water wise, reduce, reuse, recycle or purchase products that environmentally friendly?
Learning this week:
Due to Progress Achievement Testing, Word Study will be back in week 5.
Reader’s and Writer’s Workshop:
Exploring and developing tools to support persuasive writing to support our writing on taking sustainable action. We are also focusing on Oral Reading Fluency and Comprehension Assessments.
Unit of Inquiry: Exploring Sustainability and the impacts materials have on the earth, deforestation and its impact on global warming, the impact of pollution in water ways.
Mathematics: Students continue to engage in challenges with 2D shapes and 3D objects to identify key features and create representations using nets tangrams and cubes

Parent Request: We are optimistically seeking expertise from any families or parents passionate about Sustainability that may have resources or time to share with our classes. Please connect with your classroom teacher.
Swimming week: School swimming is Monday the 3rd November to Thursday 6th of November. Please contact the front office admin regarding consent and medical information for this.
