Junior Team Update

Term Four is in full swing in the Junior School! I hope this long weekend offers you and your families an opportunity to relax and have a break from the school day routines. 

Hats off to the teachers! 

Our junior staff are exceptional teachers and work collaboratively to deliver outstanding learning programs to our students. I would like to acknowledge and thank them for the dedication, kindness and joy they bring into our school community. There is always a lot of laughter and a lot of hard work at our meetings, and this sense of fun is felt by the students.

Term 4 Topic 

This term’s unit of learning will be supplemented by our Dental Van visit from Australian Smile Group (forms to be sent home soon), along with our much-anticipated Life Ed van visit.

Media Arts 

This term, students have been learning all about the magic of Stop Motion on the iPads. This amazing app has endless possibilities, and students have enjoyed watching their animations come to life. 

Students in the junior school have used toys and created moving pictures. We have been focusing on creating smooth movements, keeping our camera still using a stand and experimenting with the speed of the animation. Enjoy these photos. I am blown away by the creativity.
