Visual Arts - Kim 3A ‘Be a Learner’ Kim is engaged and dedicated in Art. She is very focused, and detail oriented, always taking care to do her best work. She sets an outstanding example for her peers. Congratulations Kim!

Chinese - Nolan 1B “Be a Learner” for consistently working hard and demonstrating a interest to learn. His thoughtful questions and willingness to speak Chinese as much as possible reflect both his curiosity and his commitment to improving his language skills.

 

6A - Zain "Be Respectful' You consistently demonstrate maturity and expected behaviours, regardless of whether your classroom teacher is present. You treat all members of our school community with respect and show integrity in everything you do.

You are an absolute superstar — well done!

6B - Jeslyn -’Be Respectful’ for consistently demonstrating respectful behaviour, acting as a strong school leader, and showing kindness to others. Your positive attitude and example inspire those around you and make our school community stronger. It has been a pleasure teaching you again this term.

6C - Liz-  Liz consistently demonstrates a deep dedication to her learning. She remains attentive during lessons, listens actively, and is increasingly confident when sharing her ideas. Her curiosity and enthusiasm for learning enrich the classroom environment, creating a positive and engaging space for all. She approaches every challenge with a growth mindset and a positive attitude, always giving her best effort. Well done, Liz!

 

5A - Abdul ‘Be a Learner’ for showing a positive attitude towards his learning tasks especially mathematics lesson.  Great to see an improvement in your persistence in challenging tasks.

5B - Semaet ‘Be a Learner’ for always demonstrating such a positive attitude towards learning, especially in Mathematics. She constantly asks questions to clarify and justify her thinking and to learn new concepts. Well done Sameat! 

5C - Bill “Be a Learner’ for an amazing improvement in your writing! You are now writing great independent sentences using correct spelling and punctuation. Keep up the fantastic work!

 

4A - Mayar 'Be a Learner' for showing persistence and determination to try her best at every task, no matter the challenge! Congratulations Mayar! Keep up your wonderful efforts!

4C - Skylar ‘Be Respectful’ for consistently showing respect through kind words, thoughtful actions, and treating others the way they would like to be treated. Thank you for making our classroom a positive place.

 

3A -  Thahira ‘Be Respectful’ Thahira displayed our school value of integrity this week by following the daily routines and expectations with different teachers. Thank you for being respectful Thahira, well done! 

3B - Siddak ‘Be a Learner’ for your excellent persuasive writing. You have shown tremendous progress by applying new learning and feedback to your writing. Your descriptive language and persistence demonstrate great dedication to learning. Well done!

3C - Rania 'Be Respectful' This award is for consistently being a respectful and responsible member of DPW. Rania shows pride in her school and her classroom and is a model other students should look up to. Amazing work, Rania!

 

2A- Luke ‘Be a Learner’ for consistently demonstrating immense levels of dedication to his learning. Luke is an active listener and participant in all class discussions. He is always up for a challenge and sets high expectations for himself. Very impressive, Luke!

2B - Isabella ‘Be Respectful’ for always being a kind and respectful classmate who is willing to help others. It’s wonderful to see Isabella working so thoughtfully and setting a great example for others. Excellent work!

 

1A - Gawa for showing wonderful growth in answering comprehension questions! He read the story, used the  clues from the story, and answered  questions with increasing confidence. He should be  very proud of his hard work and progress—great job!

1B - Norwayne ‘Be a Learner’ for writing an amazing narrative full of wonderful detail, clear structure, and engaging dialogue. She is growing in confidence as a writer, taking pride in her work, and sharing her ideas with great enthusiasm. Well done, Norwayne!

 

FA - Jamilah is beginning to apply her phonics knowledge to spell CVC words, allowing her to construct simple sentences with growing confidence. Keep it up Jamilah!

FB -Mike ‘Be Respectful’ Mike continues to be a kind and empathetic member of our class. Mike supported his peers by encouraging them to join in with learning activities. As well as providing a helping hand when his peers were upset. Well done Mike! You are a great role model! 

FC - Nosi ‘Be a Learner’  brings a very positive attitude to school each day. Nosi shows that she is ready for learning by using whole body listening and can be relied on to transition calmly and quickly between learning tasks. It has been a pleasure teaching you this term, Nosi. 🙂
