Celebrations of Learning
We are excited to invite all families to our Celebrations of Learning on Friday, 5th December, from 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm in classrooms.
This special event will showcase the incredible learning that has taken place this term, with a focus on our Inquiry topics. Students have worked hard to explore, create, and reflect, and they are eager to share their discoveries and achievements with you.
We would love to see as many families as possible join us for this celebration. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with your child’s learning journey and celebrate their efforts and growth.
Foundation 2026 Transition – Going Strong!
Our transition sessions for 2026 Foundation students have been going exceptionally well! It’s been wonderful to see our future learners engaging confidently and beginning to build connections with their teachers and peers. These sessions play an important role in helping students feel prepared and excited for the start of school next year.
For our 2026 Foundation families, please note the following important dates:
Statewide Orientation Day: Tuesday, 9th December 9:15-10:45 – all 2026 Foundation students will attend and meet their 2026 teacher.
If you have a child starting school in 2026—or know family or friends who do—please encourage them to collect an enrolment pack from our school office as soon as possible. Early enrolment ensures students can participate in our transition program and start their school journey feeling confident and ready.
Enrolments for 2026 at Deer Park West Primary School are still open!
Kind regards,

Joshua Fielding
Assistant Principal
