Year 1

Welcome to Term 4!

We’ve had a wonderful start to the term, with students diving into a range of fun and active learning experiences. 

In Maths, we’ve been revising addition and subtraction as well as exploring patterns—creating them, deciding if they go up (increase) or go down (decrease) and applying the rule. 

Our Sport sessions have been full of movement and teamwork, especially during relay races that include throwing and catching challenges. 

In Drama, we brought the nursery rhyme Hey Diddle Diddle to life with expressive acting, imagination, and lots of laughter. We also had some fun with the dress up costumes during wet weather play.

During STEM, Stage 1 was involved in many experiments—mixing, testing and discovering like mini scientists on a mission to explore the wonders of the world! 

It’s been a busy and joyful beginning to Term 4 and so many other interesting activities on the way. That’s a wrap on Year 1 2025!
