Stage 2 Maths Explorer Group 🔢🧮

Our Stage 2 Maths Explorer group has been busy over the past few weeks, diving into a range of collaborative tasks and hands-on challenges. Working in teams, they’ve tackled problem-solving activities and logic puzzles that strengthen reasoning, communication, and resilience. It’s been wonderful to see their confidence grow as they share ideas, test strategies, and support one another through each challenge.

Stage 3 Maths Extension Group

The extension maths group engaged in collaborative activities designed to challenge their problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Working in small groups, students tackled a variety of tasks that encouraged teamwork and mathematical reasoning. A highlight of the session was an interactive escape room activity, where each group had to solve a series of maths-based puzzles and clues to "unlock" the next stage.

The Stage 2 Writing Group has been focusing on the technique of 'Show, Don't Tell' to make their stories more vivid and engaging. They have been practicing how to describe actions, feelings, and settings in detail rather than simply stating them.
