Stage 3 is almost at the end of Term 4 and students are still working hard on interesting lessons in class. They are staying focused, learning new skills, and enjoying the activities planned for these last weeks. There are lots of fun and special moments still to come, making it a great way for students to finish the year with their friends.
To our Year 6 students, congratulations on a fantastic year! You have worked hard, grown in many ways, and made wonderful memories along the way. As you finish this chapter, remember to be proud of all you’ve achieved and excited for the new adventures ahead. Wishing you all the best as you move forward—keep believing in yourself and reaching for your dreams!

Congratulations to Sodanetta and Aeddianne on their recent achievements at the Liverpool Young achievers awards.

Congratulations to some of our Year 6 students for taking out Social/Emotional Domain Day at JBHS. Students have been enjoying extra special days at JBHS this term where they have participated in a range of activities in each HPGE domain (Intellectual, Physical, Creative and Social/Emotional). They have been amazing representatives of our school.

What an amazing Year 6 Fun Day at House of Wow!
We hope all our Year 6 students had a fantastic time making unforgettable memories. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying the day filled with laughter, fun, and friendship.

Year 5 students have been working on creating symbols to represent the word "deadly" as part of their English unit. Through exploring the text Come Together, they are developing a deeper understanding of the word's meaning and how it is used in different contexts.

Year 5 students have been exploring poetry by writing slam poems, haikus, limericks, and sonnets focused on important world issues. After studying the text Spotlight by Solli Raphael, they have used their creativity to express thoughts and feelings about topics that matter to them, while learning different poetic styles and techniques.

In our ocean-themed art unit, students have been sketching whales while learning about the pollution and plastic in the water that affect these majestic creatures. They have also been creating beautiful turtle artworks using sketches and watercolour paints.

After studying the unit Queenie in Seven Moves, students have been creating posters and writing personal narratives inspired by the themes and characters in the text. This work encourages them to express their ideas creatively and reflect on their own experiences, deepening their understanding of the story while developing their writing and design skills.

In our science unit on solids, liquids, and gases, students have been busy exploring the properties of different materials. They even conducted an experiment to test the viscosity of various liquids, learning how some flow more quickly than others.

In our maths lessons, students have been working in groups to practice measuring skills, applying their knowledge in practical activities. They have also enjoyed playing partner games focused on factors and multiples, which help reinforce their understanding in a fun and engaging way.
