Update from the Parent's Association
It is hard to believe that we are into mid-November already! The PA would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the people who have helped with the PA run events this year. We have had a busy year. From the POPS Family Evening, 6 cupcake stalls to date (last cupcake stall is 24/11), Pancake Day, Easter Raffle, Mother's and Father's Day stalls and breakfasts, School Disco, Fun Run and the mango fundraiser, we sincerely thank everyone who has given up their time to help. Without the help of others, PA events and fundraising for our wonderful school cannot happen.
This year, funds raised will help the school purchase a 3D printer to enhance students’ coding and technology learning and will also go towards large outdoor games such as Giant Connect 4 and Cornhole for students to enjoy during break times.
The Fun Run raised approximately $1,500 which is incredible. A huge thank you to all the students, families, and sponsors who made it such a success!
Parents's Association AGM
2nd December 6:30pm in the Arts Centre
Please join us for the PA AGM on Tuesday 2nd December. We are always looking for new faces to join the PA. It is a great way to get to know other POPS parents that you would otherwise not get the chance to meet, stay connected and make a real difference in our school. Meetings are held every 4-6 weeks. You can help as little or as much as you would like - every little bit helps whether it's sharing ideas, helping at an event, or just coming along to a meeting.
All positions are open for nomination. Please find the Nomination Form below. Copies are available in the office. Please join us for a glass of wine after the meeting has concluded.
In particular, we are in need of 2 x Class Rep Coordinators.
This role is responsible for organising and supporting class reps for each class throughout the school and assist with fundraising activities when required.
