SCHOOL CHOIR

On Tuesday, our School Choir performed for the Country Women’s Association as part of our annual tradition. Each year, the ladies visit just before their Christmas celebration to enjoy the choir’s performance. This year, we also invited the Community House preschool children and members from various groups to join us in the audience.

We hope to continue growing this event next year, welcoming even more members of our community to enjoy our talented students and to showcase our wonderful school. A big thank you to Mrs Bowen for her hard work in preparing the students for their performance.

SOIREE

Arts Centre Performance Space

Wednesday, 26 November- 6 pm

Many of our students have been rehearsing enthusiastically for next week’s Soirée. Miss Sarah and Mrs Bowen have been working hard to prepare them for their performances, and we are looking forward to a wonderful evening of music and celebration.

This year, the Soirée will be a ticketed event. Families of performers may purchase up to three tickets for $10. With so many students participating, and therefore many families, we are mindful of the Arts Centre’s capacity and want to ensure everyone can be accommodated safely and comfortably.

Funds raised from ticket sales will go towards purchasing new audio equipment to support future performances and events.

ART SHOW

Arts Centre Foyer

Wednesday, 26 November

Our Art Show will also take place next Wednesday, 26 November. Every student has selected a piece of artwork to display in the Arts Centre foyer, and we warmly encourage families to come along and enjoy the creativity on show.

As in previous years, there will be a People’s Choice Award, with voting open across different year levels. Families are invited to visit during one of the two viewing sessions:

3:45– 4:30 pm

5:00– 5:45 pm

A big thank you to Mrs Moore, who has worked tirelessly throughout the term to prepare and display each student’s artwork.
