Foundation Unit

This week in Prep the students have been making book recommendations for Margaret Wild Texts. Students had to write about what they enjoyed about the text and complete a 5 star illustration replicating the front cover of the text. These will be displayed in the library for all to see and admire in 2024!

The Foundation grades have been continuing to partake in STEM fairytale challenges. They have enjoyed working as a team to design solutions to problems that can be found in common fairy tales (such as Jack and the Beanstalk and Goldilocks and the Three Bears) and then bringing their designs to life with different materials. We have been having lots of fun and doing lots of amazing problem-solving with our classmates, which has been great to see!

Finally, this is our last newsletter of the 2023 school year, so we would like to say a huge thank you to our students and their families for all their help and support during the year. We have watched our students grow and learn so much, and everyone should be very proud of themselves. We would also like to take this opportunity to wish you all a safe and happy Christmas. We look forward to seeing you all in 2024!
