Principal's Report
Dear Rockhampton North Special School Community,
What a year it's been! I'm really proud and happy as I think about all the great things we've done together. Our school has become a better place, and it's all thanks to everyone working hard and caring for each other.
The concert last night was amazing. Seeing so many families there, cheering for our students, was really special. Everyone did such a great job on stage, showing how confident and happy they are. Working together on the concert really showed how much we all belong to this school community. A big highlight was announcing who the School Captains for 2024 will be. I am looking forward to working closely with our school captains who will be supporting our school in driving our school values next year.
Our students have done so well this year. Their report cards show just how much effort and determination they've put in. Every new thing they learn and every challenge they overcome makes me super proud.
We're all excited about moving into the new E-Block. It's been a long wait, over 500 days, but it's going to be a great place for more learning and fun.
We're also getting ready for next year, with new classes and teachers. We're making sure everything goes smoothly. Each family will get a letter soon, introducing their child's new teacher – a new start to another great year.
To wrap up, I just want to say a big thank you to everyone in our school community. Let's keep up the good work and make sure our school is always a place where every student feels important, supported, and encouraged to do their best.
Have a lovely Christmas and New Year with your family and friends 😊
Warm regards,
Dehlia
