University of Melbourne Partnership

We thank the University of Melbourne for their kind gesture in acknowledging our staff who continue to support their pre service teachers. This year we especially thank Mr Frank Anania, Ms Caitlin Danks, Ms Maddie Brown and Ms Bridget O'Connor who mentored the Teacher Candidates through their placements within our school. We have continued to enjoy our partnership with the University, particularly the Melbourne Graduate School of Education (MGSE) who have continued to be ranked No.1 in Australia for Education, and also currently ranked in the Top 10 universities globally.

Trinity Sports Afternoon

This afternoon, all students across our school participated in our annual school sports. We thank Ms McLeary and our 2024 Sports Captains and senior students for their organisation and leading us in a range of sports games and running races. Congratulations to all House Teams for their enthusiastic participation and being such great sports on the day!

Performing Arts 'Storytime'

On Thursday morning, Ms Sandra Stanton created an opportunity for all classes to showcase their learning from Performing Arts this year.  It was wonderful to see our students perform with such confidence and talent, retelling some beautiful literature through performance. This was a great opportunity for students to challenge themselves and shine in such a creative way. Thank you to Ms Stanton! We also thank the families who joined us for this showcase.

Shared Stories Anthology

This week we are looking forward to receiving the copies of the Shared Stories Anthology in which many of our students contributed to this collection, writing pieces and creating art work around the theme 'Inspire'.  As soon as we receive all copies, we will present these to our students at an assembly. We can't wait to share this amazing publication with our students and families.

Writers of the Week

These superstars in Prep have been challenging themselves with their writing. It is so wonderful to see students so excited about their learning and developing a love of writing. Congratulations to Lucas and Daniel in Prep CM...

Student Led Conversations and Semester 2 Reports

We look forward to sharing the students' progress and achievements with you at the Student Led Conversations which will be held in Week 10 on Thursday 7th of December and in their School Reports which will be emailed home on Monday 4th December.  This is an opportunity to celebrate your child's achievements from across this semester.

Friday School Closure Day: Professional Learning for Teachers

On Friday 1st December, all staff are involved in professional learning in Literacy and Numeracy, as well as planning for 2024. We will be looking at the refeshed Victorian Curriculum as well as new assessments that MACS have introduced for students in Prep to Year 2. As a result, this is a school closure day and therefore there will be no school for our students.

'Meet the Teacher' Morning

On Tuesday 12th December students will have an opportunity to meet their class teacher and students who will be in their class for 2024.  This is a very exciting time for students as we begin to transition and prepare for next year.

Staying in touch...

If you have any questions or concerns about your child's learning, please do not hesitate to make contact with your child's teacher. You are also welcome to come and see me about any aspect of learning at Trinity.
