Sandhurst Catholic Schools Athletics Carnival

Last Wednesday, 21st August, our athletes faced testing conditions at the annual Catholic Schools Athletics Carnival. A team of 56 students from grades 3 to 6 braved the cold and wet weather to compete in a range of track and field events. Despite the tough weather, there were standout performances that led to 11 of our students qualifying for the Sandhurst Division Carnival on Monday, 16th September.

The attitude, behavior, and resilience of our students was truly commendable. A special thanks to Ms. Johns, Ms. Christy, and Noah for their invaluable support throughout the day. This is a day our students will remember for many years to come.

We wish all the best to those competing again on Monday, 16th September.

Swimming Caps

Thank you to Kirsti Hundt and the Parents and Friends Committee for organising and supporting the recent purchase of specialty swim caps for use by our students when competing in representative carnivals. We will certainly look the part when hitting the blocks next year!

Run Club

Students and parents are invited to take part in out weekly run club.

Walk/run as many laps of the school oval as you can from 8.10 - 8.30am every Friday morning. It's not a race, you set your own pace. Challenge yourself to better your lap count each week. Proudly wear your run club achievement badge for the day and encourage your friends to come along.

Just sign in at the gate on arrival and participate to the best of your ability.

New runners welcome. See Mr Epps if you have any questions.
