Hello, hello! 

The last few weeks we have been exploring our soil eco-system in our garden beds. We discovered that there are some underground creatures living there but agreed that there are probably not enough. So, we watched an informative episode of ABC Gardening on how to improve our soil.  

We watched the teacher add new, rich soil and some pungent horse manure. WOW! There were already some super-duper worms in there! 

Later, some of us gave a hand in planting plants that will encourage pollinators and planting vegetables and fruit in our sustainable garden.  

We can’t wait to see our rewards from the plants!
