SJW Disco 2024

A big thank you to Laura, Abby and Jed for their amazing joint effort in coordinating this year’s SJW Disco. The event ran very smoothly and most importantly, the children had a great time!

 

Thank you to all the wonderful parent helpers that assisted on the night. In particular, a big thank you to Emma for providing the UV Face Paint. Emma and Daniela did a wonderful job providing the children with creative designs!

 

We were very grateful to have all the bread donated for the disco by a very kind SJW family; and we would also like to acknowledge and express our gratitude to the following businesses: FTS Resolve (www.ftsresolve.com.au) – for the donation to cover DJ Con. Whiteman Property & Associates (https://kwhiteman.com/) – for the donation of Sausages and products for the BBQ.

 

Thanks to all the generous donations received, this boosted the total profit to just over $2800, so it was a fantastic result.

 

Finally, we’d like to say thank you to the school community for being open to trying out the new option of paying online. Paying online (and ordering by the due date) greatly increases efficiency and reduces the time burden on those that contribute their valuable time to planning these events. P&F Wrap-up: Father’s Day Stall and Raffle 2024

A very big thank you to Lisa for her impeccable work coordinating another successful Father’s Day stall. Thank you also to our fantastic parent helpers that volunteered their time to help set up and run the Father’s Day stall. We raised $2140 via the stall and raffle.

Thanks to the great work of our newly formed raffle group, there were an amazing selection of prizes. A big thank you to Emma, Daniela, Marelia, Jessica, Vanessa and Natalie for their great teamwork and contributions.

 

Our raffle would not be possible without the generous donations. We are extremely grateful to the families and businesses that kindly donated items to support the raffle.
