Italian Day Celebrations - 14th August 2024

Italian Day was a tremendous success, thanks to the enthusiasm and creativity of our students, parents, and staff. The day began with a vibrant Italian costume parade where students showcased their imaginative outfits, reflecting their dedication to embracing Italian culture. A special thank you goes to parents and staff for their invaluable assistance in helping students get into the Italian spirit.

The highlight of the day was the theatre incursion, "Vacanze Romane," which captivated students with its lively performance. Students actively participated, singing and dancing along, while gaining new insights into the culture and history of Rome.

Throughout the day, students engaged in a variety of Italian-themed activities. They embraced traditional Italian sport, playing Soccer and Bocce and explored cultural icons such as the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Vespa and the Mona Lisa. They also participated in a range of creative sessions, making Venetian Masks, Pizza Chef Hats, Roman Helmets, and Ancient Mosaics. These sessions allowed students to explore different aspects of Italian art and history.

Overall Italian Day was a vibrant and educational experience, filled with fun learning and delicious Italian food. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to making the day so successful.

Grazie mille,
