Interschool Netbal

The Maffra Secondary College Junior Boys netball team showcased commendable effort and skill during the Gippsland Round, despite not securing a win. They came close in their first match against Trafalgar, who emerged as the overall winners of the day. Key contributors included Campbell Hanna, Ben Tews, Jett Dillon, and Zac Svenson, who excelled in shooting. Svenson, along with Darcy Cater and Rusty Krouwer, made significant contributions in the attacking midcourt.

In defense, Charlie Coates, Cooper Strickland, Max Hinchcliffe, and Koby Johnson were formidable, effectively limiting their opponents with strong rebounding and strategic play. Kobe Parson stood out in the Center position, applying his extensive knowledge and experience to lead the team effectively.

The team displayed great performance, leading most of their matches against Nagle and Foster but were edged out by the final siren. Congratulations to the boys for their preparation and dedication. Your commitment to training was evident and appreciated. A special thanks to Harry Dierickx, Angus Robinson, and Ms. Schellen for their support on the day.
