Brigidine Day
On the last day of Term 3 our College community came together to celebrate the much-anticipated celebrations of our annual Brigidine Day. Our day started with a Mass led by Fr Elio and hosted by our Arts and Celebrations Committee Leaders.
This year our theme, Light of Hope, inspires our students to uplift one another to continue to create a supportive environment where everyone feels valued and cared for. Our College community embraces the different backgrounds and beliefs within the school community highlighting the light of hope that comes from unity and understanding.
We continued our celebrations with a Fashion Parade, where each year level was given a theme to dress up. It was amazing to see our students' creativity on the runway and to witness the enthusiastic display of school spirit.
There were many highlights of the day which included, watching staff members get drenched with iced water for the Big Freeze, the opening of our College OpShop, Brigid's Blessing which both raised money for charity, Killester's Got Talent show, Face-painting, and of course, a Student vs Staff game! There was plenty of action-packed fun for everyone to enjoy.
Thank you to everyone, staff and students, for making Brigidine Day a successful, fun, and memorable occasion for our entire school community.
