Learning in J07

Year 1 have been engaging in Indigenous studies in their General Studies unit.

J07 students have been learning about the rich culture of Aboriginal art by creating their own paintings using traditional symbols. Guided by Dreamtime stories and the meanings behind each symbol, they have expressed their creativity while gaining a deeper appreciation for Aboriginal heritage. 

The classroom buzzed with excitement as students carefully chose colours and patterns, bringing their unique visions to life. Each artwork tells a story, reflecting the student's understanding and respect for this ancient form of storytelling. The resulting paintings are beautiful and a testament to their learning about Aboriginal culture.
