Term 3 Parent Teacher Conferences 

 

Term 3 Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday the 14 August (3:30pm - 5:00pm) and Thursday the 15th of August (3:30 -7:30). Conferences will be conducted onsite and in-person in your child's classroom.

 

Parent Teacher Conferences are a wonderful opportunity for parents and teachers to come together to celebrate the growth and achievements of individual students. It enables teachers to give a detailed insight on the learning behaviours and needs of students and set goals with parents for the remainder of the year. Parent Teacher Conferences are a meaningful and valuable tool to strengthen the relationship between school and home for the betterment of our students.

 

Compass will be open for bookings from Wednesday the 31st of July until Monday the 12th August.

 

Recent Holiday Works

 

There were a number of works undertaken during the recent Term Break. 

 

These included - 

 

  • Works to approximately 18 trees deemed as High Priority by our arborists. This included removals, weight reductions, cable bracing and aerial inspections. These works were fully funded as part of our involvement in the Safe Trees in Schools program.
  • New roof sheeting installed in the entrances to the Administration building. These works have resulted in having a much brighter and safer path of travel to the entrance of our school.
  • Stormwater repairs between Rooms 15 and 16
  • Roof repairs to the Wentworth building
  • Gutter and roof cleaning  

 

Vandalism - Foundation Toilets

 

Unfortunately, the school experienced some vandalism during the holiday period with the door to the Foundation Boys Toilets being severely damaged. The door will need to be replaced, and this work will be undertaken by the Departments MakeSafe program. In the meantime, we are endeavouring to have the toilet facilities open for our students but it may be necessary to close that toilet block to ensure the area remains safe and secure. Please rest assured that there are ample toilet facilities throughout the school in the event of the foundations toilet being closed.
